Trying to set up a 2.4 Ghz on my CM1100
Am trying to add a 2.4GHz connection to my exisitng 5GHz setup, when I follow the instructions and try the 192.168.100.1 route and check 'advanced setup' I get no option for the setup here.

Purschased: Jun 2020
Existing setup: 5GHz (want to retain it and add a 2.4GHz band)
Provider: Xfinity Comcast

Re: Trying to set up a 2.4 Ghz on my CM1100
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Cable Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Cable modems and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

The CM line of modes do NOT have a built in router nor wifi capabilities. You need a extneral wifi router to connect to the CM modem.
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.
