Well, I was able to fix this but not in a desirable way. My wife's system admin was being uncooperative so I just bought a TP-Link router and it worked right out of the box. Hopefully, Netgear improves its firmware in the future.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your response!!!! I have been trying for over a week to get my AX1800 to communicate with my Wyse 5070 Thin Client. Neither my ISP, Geek Squad, NetGear nor my IT department could figure out why. I saw your post on the suggestion of NetGear support and went and bought a TP-Link router. Like you all I did was plug it in and it worked. It took over a week of incredible frustration and disruption in work to get this worked out. So again, thank you so much!
