ax1800 set up as wireless access point to a ax1800 router
How do i set up an ax1800 wifi 6 router as a wireless access point to an ax1800 router? I do not want to connect with an ethernet wire.

A couple things.
1. Access point requires the hardwired connection.
2. AX1800 is a speed, not a mode.
3. I think you're looking for repeater/extender mode. Newer netgear routers don't have repeater/extender mode.
4. you could use bridge mode but that doesn't rebroadcast wifi. So if you're wanting it for more coverage, that wont' work.
5. you could use powerline or moca adapters to connect the 2x routers.
If you're looking to extender your wireless coverage and don't have a wired backhaul, then you need to look at something like using actual wireless extenders or switching to a mesh system.
