I currently have a AC1750 smart wifi router, model r6300v2 connected to my modem. I've had this rounter for five years. I want to upgrade to a higher grade model something with mesh, I saw in costco a AX4300 wifi6 at a good price. First, I'm not up on routers relative to the latest technology, so I could use some help. What do you think of the proposed upgrade or any other suggestions. Other than slow speeds and other minor wifi issues, I don't want to screw up my existing layout, whats your suggestions. I have several TV's and my grandson is a gamer so there's always alot going on. Thank you

Re: ax4300
Do you have any problems at the moment?
Buying a new router isn't likely to make your Internet go any faster. That's down to the service you pay for.

If these are wired devices, rather than all wifi, then it might be worth investigating Powerline Ethernet. It turns the house's mains circuit into a wired network.
