WHat model router is this? AX2400 isn't a model #.
Haven't seen others with claiming there routers have caught fire recently.
12volts can fry some components but wouldn't catch fire...

Model RAX29
It was not clogged with dust as it was a recent purchase from Walmart, easily returnable.
I would be more than happy to plug it back in (outdoors) and get a picture of smoke pouring out of it.

Ya, if you can return it, do that. May have been an odd defect in the router. I agree, should not happen.
