It is a TP-Link TL-SG108, cat 6 cable.

Can't recommend that mfr. You might give NGs GS108 series a try if it happens again.

How would the unmanaged switch cause the RS280 lan port to lock up, with Wi-Fi still working? It is interesting that rebooting only the RS280 made the lan port start working again.- FURRYe38Jan 30, 2025Guru - Experienced User
Will need to test the router with out the switch being connected. Anything could happen with 3rd party branded switches or cabling.
Is protection engine enabled on the routers web page under Advanced tab/Security?
Let us know if it happens again with out the switch.
