RS700 versus RS700S

NETGEAR references two different model numbers (RS700 and RS700S) for the Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi 7 Router (see here).  What are the differences, if any, between the two?

Thank you.

Re: RS700 versus RS700S

Yes, all the answers above are correct. RS700S is the product name or SKU name, its hardware device is RS700. The appendix 'S' indicates 1-yr Armor service is bundled. There are no RS700 alone products in the market at this point. If you look at the RS700S' device label, it still says RS700. I hope this explains.

One comes with Armor subscription I do believe.

Re: RS700 versus RS700S

I think they are one in the same. I pre-ordered the RS700S, but I ended up getting the RS700.

@FURRYe38is likely right. My one did come with a year of Netgear Armor, so maybe all physical models are RS700, and the S just indicates that it comes with a year of armor.

Re: RS700 versus RS700S

The HW is the same. Just Software options Like Armor sets the S. NG does this for the Orbi system as well.
