Too invested into wemo by now. After the channel switch it’s been great thus far. No more reconnect issues even after router reboots. I will try automation manager. Thanks

I find it funny that it looks like it's released for the RBK852 and the 854, but if you got to the support pages for the 853, it still has the old firmware for download. I think Netgear just missed this, as the router and satelites are the same, except for the number of satelites that is.

The 853s web page didn't get updated is all. I tend to always input 852 and always see that page is updated first. All 8 series models use the same FW version.

Installed manually on an RBK853 system - everything seems okay (so far), and I did notice that Speed Test in Advanced -> Setup now seems to be working again.
Data point: before installation, I backed up settings and I am connected via ethernet to a LAN port on my office satellite.

Received email about upgrade. When upgrading, Orbi app says no upgrade available though it is needed. No reply from Netgear after writing them. Any clue about how to get the update to work. Have 1 satellite
RBS first then RBR lastly. Power OFF the RBR ane RBS for 30 seconds after the FW file is sent and processed by each unit.
