RBR850 V3.2.18.1_1.4.14 latest firmware CONSTANT DISCONNECTIONS

Guys, ever since latest firmware update on my orbi router im having constantly daily disocnnections at least 5 times per day

never happened on an older firmware version

i cant use my internet like this

 

spent 2-3 hours of different level support netgear being passed around

just to create a ticket about the issue going no where

 

need help

i want to downgrade to a stable version but it keeps reverting back to latest version firmware

 

any idea guys?

been using my orbi router with 1 sat for 3 months no issues until this new update came out

 

random disconnections

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last update?

 

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

  • Does the actual internet connection disappear from the Orbi web interface?
  • Does the Orbi WiFi signal drop?
  • Does it appear that the DNS function stops working?
    i.e. you can 'ping' an IP address, such as 1.1.1.1 but cannot ping by URL one.one.one.one?
  • Are all devices in the network affected the same way?

is Traffic Meter or Armor enabled on the RBR? 

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

 

 

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Have exact same issue.   This is unacceptable Netgear.  Why doesn't Netgear have a solution?  I had the same issue with a previous firmware.  Support had me change some settings and it was fine for a while and then Netgear forced new firmware on me  (V3.2.18.1_1.4.14).  This is garbage.  I can't revert to the old firmware either.  This is infuriating.   The issue affects both wired and wireless connections.  Anyone have a solution?   Yes...I've power cycled my router and satellite (RBR/RBS 850).    The solutions offered so far have not been helpful.
