Any ideas on when Netgear will release a new version of the app?

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Our engineering team is aware of the issue (Orbi App does not show the Orbi router image after updating to app version 2.15.1.2.) and is currently investigating. We currently do not have any further details at the moment. We will be sure to update the thread as soon as we can.
Regards,
Blanca

Re: Latest update not showing router image
New app was released. They fixed the icon but broke local access, can only connect via anywhere access.
Unbelievable.

Re: Latest update not showing router image
It works fine for me on both iPad and iPhone. It did make me re-log in when I started the app, and then again the first time I tapped to see all the devices, maybe something got messed up there. Maybe restart device, kill app, etc would help?

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Deleted the app, downloaded and reconfigured. No local access for me on either iPhone or iPad.

Re: Latest update not showing router image
I just happened to stumble upon something and I don’t know why it’s a problem now after the update because it wasn’t an issue in the previous version(s) but I think the issue is related to when iCloud private relay is enabled. As soon as I turned it off (on both devices) I was prompted to sign in and now it’s connecting locally.
Can someone try enabling that feature on their iOS device and verify?

@Timothy88 did the new iOS Orbi app resolve your initial first post?
Should now be at v2.16.0.286 for iOS.

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Yes, I have had this or a similar issue (no image) on even the latest version for some time. I just brought up the app right now and there it is...I have just given up them getting it to work right. If you tap on the blank space it does go where it should...

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Checked both 7 and 8 series in Orbi app today after updating to current iOS version while at work.
Both are displaying the routers icon here:
I do have WiFi Private Address and IP Tracking disabled on my iphone while at home.

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Same for me. I can access the app on my Android phone - running running FW V4.6.8.2_2.1.9 and the Android app v2.16.0.2128 on an Orbi Series 7

Re: Latest update not showing router image
Another item I should mention is that I've disabled Anywhere Access under Settings for both of my Orbis.
Local access only.
