No option to delete inactive device in Orbi app

See attached screenshot. I do not see the option to delete an unused phone in my list of devices in the Orbi app. App version is android 2.19 firmware version 2.7.4.24 Is this a bug in the app?

Re: No option to delete inactive device in Orbi app

There was a discussion about a similar issue last December:

https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/Orbi-App-missing-quot-DELETE-THIS-DEVICE-quot-option/m-p/2...

That discussion was never concluded, so it is not clear what the result was.

I did see this discussion and that Netgear staff didn't have a definitive answer. I posted again to see if there has been any new development in the past 10 months to resolve the issue.

Did you try to use the web administration Access Control?

Yes. Web app only shows the currently connected devices, not disconnected/inactive devices.

Re: No option to delete inactive device in Orbi app

The web app, Advanced Tab, Setup Menu, Security, Access Control has several tables:

  • Devices that are currently connected, and under that list (scroll down)
  • Devices that have been allowed to connect but are no longer connected, and under that (scroll down further)
  • Devices that have been blocked and are not connected.

When Access Control is enabled, devices can be removed from the bottom two lists.

By "web app" do you mean the browser graphical user interface (GUI)?

There are many things you can do there that are beyond the Android/iOS apps.
