Orbi 760 with 3 satellites -linear map
I recently added a 3rd satellite to my 760 orbi network. This to improve my distant network point speed. I've got all 3 satellites on line, but the app still shows a linear daisy chain even though the 3rd satellite should have the best connection to the base node. How do I get the satellites to establish multipoint connections?
2nd question - why does the app refuse to let me attach a screen shot?

Re: Orbi 760 with 3 satellites -linear map
For years customers have wished for manual control of how devices and satellites connect to Orbi systems and Netgear has never incorporated any features along that line. Everything is determined by software algorithms.
- Devices determine which Orbi WiFi unit best suits them. Users have found that some devices appear to connect to the first WiFi access point they discover and quit looking. For these devices, it often helps to power them off until all Orbi devices are working and then power up the device so that it can select the closest Orbi.
- With satellites, the conventional wisdom is to first connect the satellite with WiFi in the same room with the router. Then, relocate the satellite to the desired location. How does the Orbi 'app' describe the WiFi connection of the three satellites? Are they all "5G Good"?

If this is referring to community forum posts, the Orbi 'app' has nothing to do with forum posts. The forum interface is a web browser. I attach images to forum posts all the time by pasting them (control V on Windows).
