Orbi RBR750 Router - can't enable Anywhere Access with Orbi app

I am trying to enable Anywhere Access on my Orbi RBR750 router using the Orbi app but I get an error "Something Went Wrong   There was a problem enabling Anywhere Access, please try again or enable later."  I've attempted to turn on with the slider in the app multiple times but continue to get the same error.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Is remote access already enabled on the RBRs web page under Advanced tab/Admistration?

Do you have access with a wired PC and web browser? 

Make sure if this is for a Apple device, WiFi Private Address is disabled:

Make sure Local Network is enabled for Orbi app on the apple device as well:

Try a different device if you have one?

Private is off

App enabled.

Apple iphone 12.

App can connect "locally" but not via Anywhere Access. 

Yes, I can connect via PC.

Connecting to ALIV / BTC  ISP in the Bahamas.

Ok. Something NG needs to address then. Nothing else we can help with here in the forums as others are seeing this problem as well.

I'm having the same problem with my rbr750. Uninstalled/installed the app. Hard reset my router. Still the same problem "something went wrong" tried 3 different devices. The same. I have android os.

Is this the same problem in the sense that the app connects to the router when connected to the LAN, but then trying to move the slider to the right results in an error?

The app must be connected on the LAN for this option to be enabled.  After it is enabled, then Anywhere Access means "anywhere" and if someone has stolen your phone and can open apps, then they can control your Orbi.

I'm having the same issue.  I have turned the Private Wi-Fi Address off on my iPhone 14 but that still won't allow me to slide the button for Anywhere Access.  I keep getting the error message.

There apparently has been no fix at all by Netgear. This feature basically is permanently broken. I won’t buy Netgear again.

The orb is connected to my LAN. I like my orb too. Still they need to fix this issue.

I submitted the bug report.   (For about the 10th time.).   It's clear Netgear has NO interest in fixing this.  Very disappointing.   I will not recommend ORBI to anyone since THEY broke their own feature and refuse to fix it.

What mobile platform are you using? Apple or Anderoid? Both?

App version 2.20.1.9

I have the IOS private and tracking settings off.

Still get "device offline" error message on the app.

Is this while your at home on the home network or away and remote?

Updated firmware to v4.6.11.1 manually since when I checked directly from the router it said it was up to date.
