Orbi RBR850 "new device detected" messages
I'm getting repeated "new device detected" messages from my wife's Android smart phone running Android 13. I have the exact same model that she has and I'm not getting messages about my phone. The alerts keep popping up on my phone, presumably from my Orbi app. We do not subscribe to Armor and do not intend to do so.
Our Orbi firmware is v4.6.14.3.
In my list of devices, there are 56 entries named DEV with three sets of two-character hex codes. All say "smart phone." We also have 36 named Apple, and we do not own any Apple products. We have two kids with Apple iPhones and although they do not live here, they visit frequently.
Shouldn't there be an interface that asks if this device is ok? Once you say "it's my smarphone," then shouldn't it stay quiet about the devices? This is getting tiresome. 92 alerts for 4 devices. Ugh.

Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Manage network access control lists
Then there is the Device Manager bit in the Orbi app.
As to iOS things, try this:
