Orbi app admin password no longer recognizes my admin password
I can access my Netgear account my Bitdefender app etc. if I have to somehow reset my Orbi app admin password what all will that affect? My actual Orbi router login etc. Thank you in advance for helping this newbie! Kathy

Hi Kathy,
I would recommend factory resetting the Orbi unit by holding down on the reset button for 15+ seconds. After doing so, please reinstall the Orbi app and run through the setup assistant again using the Orbi app.

I have had exactly the same problem and it is a real bugbear because you need to reset the complete system when this happens.
I finally found a solution which worked for me but I don't claim it will work for everyone.
Do you also have Network Insight app installed on your device.
If so uninstall Insight and the orbi app might then remain stable and remember your password.
Once you reset the system the Orbi app seems to remember your password everytime.
I trialled this solution 3 times by un-installing Insight and resetting the system and each time the Orbi app remembered my password.
With Insight re-installed the Orbi app forgot my password and I had to reset the sytem again.
In my case there appears to be a conflict between the 2 apps.
I am using a Xiaomi Mi9 Pro as the access device.
I hope this potential solution my work for you otherwise pacakage the system up and send it back until Netgear recognise this as an issue and adopt a proactive stance on working a solution.

I am still at a loss because when I installed the Orbi system it assigned an SSID name and showed the password for using mine which was on the bottom of the router. Now when I open the app I’d just says admin and will not allow you to change that. I honestly don’t remember back in February when I installed the system what it said each day until it no longer stored the password it just always connected me. If you might think of anything else or know of anything else to refer me to I’d greatly appreciate it!

I have exactly the same problem
I ve no access to my circle app anymore.
I cancel the app and reinstall it.
My Orbi is recognized but when I try to enter my 4 digits code, it still doesnt work.
Then the message in french "Connexion impossible , verifiez votre code , puis reessayez" appears. In english : The connection is impossible , check your code and try again.
Then, As i'm the only one circle admin, I asked for an SMS message.
This SMS was never received;
Everybody's blocked at home.
I'm waiting for your help please.

I am having the same problem, and just having to reset the whole system seems ridicoulus to my while it a bug in the app. please do an update and solve this problem

I am having the same issue. All of a sudden the circle app stopped working premium features. then I got in touch with circle and they told me to reboot etc. Then I noticed that the orbi app will not login but I can login through web browser. The app keeps saying the pw is incorrect but I know it it is correct. Now circle app won't even connect to the RBR50. It says that it is enabled but won't let me go further. So now no orbi app and no circle. Anyone learn anything more about this issue?

Hi,
We just switched from Xfinity back to Fios today. Our Orbi mesh router is connected to our Fios router. For some bizarre reason, even though I reset the Orbi router and unplugged, etc. and reinstalled the Orbi app on my iPhone, the app will not recognize the admin password (which is supposedly password). I also tried the factory password that is printed on the router and that didn't work either. Can someone please help?
