Orbi Pro SRR60 - How Do I Schedule Reboot?

Does anyone have any idea how I can schedule a reboot every night? Since Orbi Pro randomly freezes every week. I'm currently using V2.4.0.114 and would really need this schedule reboot. Should be just simple coding for developers right? Am I just not able to find the feature or is it something under development?

Re: Orbi Pro SRR60 - How Do I Schedule Reboot?

Hi ,
would like to know if you’ve got the way to schedule a restart of orbi system ?
It would be very useful for me, the system runs not very well after a couple of days.
Thanks.

Re: Orbi Pro SRR60 - How Do I Schedule Reboot?

Hi Raghu,

yes I use the latest firmware. Before posting my message I have read a lot of topics and I have also tried to change some parameters by myself. Let me explain you in a few words.

- One SRR60 + 4 sat SRS60 for a 450m2 buidlings (installed in november 2019)

- Approx. 25 devices connected (Laptop, iOS devices, 2 NestCam, 2 Apple TV, 5 Smart TV, ...)

- Configuration:

* 3 SSIS Activated (One for TVs, Two for the other devices

* DHCP activated with 80% of reserved adresses (to avoid IP changes)

* 2,4Ghz channel:Automatic

* 5 Ghz channel: 44

WPA2-PSK [AES] only.

* SSID boradcast YES

* 20/40 MHz YES

* CTS/RTS 2347

* DAISY-CHAIN NO

* BEAMFORMING NO

* MU-MIMO YES

* FASTROAMING NO

* ISP provider: works perfectly with strong Internet access.

The SRR60 and SRS60 are placed thru the building to cover the full area.

Issues:

 - After a couple a days (2/3 and 7), issues appear: the systems doesn't work well: slowdown, disconnection of devices (i.e NestCam), ping > 500ms instead of 20ms in average, laptop and iOS devices can not reach the network, disconnection of SRS60s (ramdomly), ...

Resolution:

- I reboot the system thru with the admin portal and the system is ready for another couple of days ...

I feel the sytem needs to flush his components / memories...

 So I hope you understand my configuration. Feel free to ask fo any aditionnal information.

I really need to have a system that works...

Thank you

Julien.

Re: Orbi Pro SRR60 - How Do I Schedule Reboot?

Thanks @Jul59  for the details.

Could you please share the debug logs to understand your issue better?

Go to https://<OrbiPro IP address>/debug.htm

Click on start capture.

Wait for the issue to happen.

Wait for at least 5 mins to capture everything in the logs. Then save debug logs.

You can use the google drive to upload the debug logs  or something similar. Send me the link via PM.

Have a good day & stay safe.

Raghu
