Orbi SRK50 speed issue while behind a bridged modem

Hi,
I just recently upgraded my ISP line to fiber (1gb). Now I noticed, that when I connect my PC directly to the ISP-Modem, I'm getting full speed (~970mbps). When I connect my PC to the Orbi which is in router-mode, I'm only getting ~450mbps.
I set the ISP modem to bridge mode and setup ORBI as Router. Basically the setup which is described in option 2 here to prevent double NAT:
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
I found other posts having similar issues with high-speed internet connections that speed is almost cut by 50% while accessing Internet through ORBI router. However, I've not found any good solution yet.
Due to my cabling and location of my ISP-router in the building, I'll have to keep the ORBI as my router and the ISP-Modem in bridge mode.
Anyone had the same setup/issue and found a solution?
Regards,
Kringel
