Living in a 5,000 sq ft house on terraced hillside with three levels that have metal based roof sections intervening. Have an SRR60 router with 2 SRK60 satellites. Pure wifi. Trying to get best transmission paths through the maze of roof/wall/grate interface and was wondering if there is any documentation on the transmission characteristics of the radios. Are they straight onmi-directional spheres or are there main and side lobe characteristics that could affect aiming? Any documentation would be helpful.

On all these consumer and SMB devices you can easily consider omni-diectional spheres. The mariginal deviations within some percent are much less then the unknown deviations by the building structure.
