SXK80 - WEAK Satellite signal on all devices

Reposting, since no response on OP.

I'm having 2 situations on a new SXK80 system.  I am on the latest 3.2.6.102 firmware.

1: Devices that are 10 feet away and line of sight from the router, bypass it and connect to the satellite that is 30+ feet away, sometimes giving a fair signal.

2: All wireless devices that connect to the Satellite show fair to poor connection, even if the device is 10 feet away from the satellite. I've reset the system, checked the backhaul connection, which is Good (-43 dBm), checked the channels for interference, repositioned and moved devices, forget network on devices and rejoined.

Nothing changes.

Has there been any issues regarding connectivity for this system?

have you tested the speeds to see if its just a display issue for the "fair signal"

Yes, it only happens with devices connecting to the Satellite.

What speeds do you get on the satellite over:

2.4ghz:

5ghz:

wired:

 

On your wireless settings, have you changed your bandwidth per ssid percentage?

Yes many WiFi devices connect to the router. All of them are at least good. However most devoces connecting to the Sat show fair, even if they are 10 feet away.

The GUI is reporting the satellite is connected to the router at (Tx 1921 and Rx 1921 showing good -43 dBm connection. 

2.4ghz: average 40Tx/50Rx with -70dBm

5ghz: 240Tx/200Rx

wired: nothing wired to satellite

I have NOT changed bandwith per ssid.

WiFi speedtests performed on devices connected to router normally show my 543dn/57up (my ISP connection ius 500/50), with the exception of older devices. 

 

I install many Orbi systems in my business. I recently started using this product. I've installed a couple SXK80, SXK80B3 and SXK80B4 systems. I installed this SXK80 system in my home for testing. The other installs are fine. My satellite has this one issue. Also sometimes a device will bypass the satellite and connect to the router at better speeds than connected to the satellite, even if the device is 10 to 15 feet away from satellite and 40 feet from router. I've moved the satellite to different locations closer and further with no change.

Have you opened a support case with netgear?

Yes 2 days ago. Pretty sure it's a hardware issue. Don't have another satellite right now to test it.
