Using a non-Orbi-pro device as an extra WAP
I've got an Orbi pro setup (SRR60 + SRS60). Is is possible to extend the wifi network using a non-Orbi WAP (I have a couple unused so was thinking of utilising them), if I connect the WAP to the router with ethernet cable? I'm figuring anything on the 'alien' WAP would be considered ethernet traffic by the orbi system (I'm not too concerned about traffic separation), and I'd only get the SSID capabilities of the alien WAP, but if I set the WAP's SSID and password the same as our primary SSID, will I run into grief?

Re: Using a non-Orbi-pro device as an extra WAP
You can set it with the same ssid/password but it won't be as efficient at roaming as the orbi system as a whole.
You'll also want to set it on a different wireless channel so it isn't creating interference with the orbi
