2 RBR760 in AP mode connected via Ethernet to ISP router

Hi All

I started with one RBR760 and 2 RBS760 satellites in AP mode connected to my ISP router (Telstra smart modem 2) which was working well. I just ran Ethernet from the ISP router to a seperate home office building so bought another RBR760 and 1 satellite (which i also put in AP mode) but now the main house satellites keep losing connection (purple light). Restarting the satellites doesn’t get them to reconnect. I have reset them and reconnected but they drop again. Any ideas? Thanks

Try taking out the 2nd RBR and run the 2nd line/building off the main orbi router. You can hardwire in the satellites to the orbi

Is there any way to still use the RBR?  I'd prefer to get the extra coverage of two units.

I've got both Orbi 760 routers in AP mode and both are ethernet connected to the ISP router.  I've left them both with default SSID (OrbiXX and OrbiYY).  My hope was to have 2 separate mesh networks (one in the house, one in the external office).  Each works fine on their own but when I power up both at the same time the satellites drop connection (purple lights).  The routers themselves keep working.

When you're setting up the sateliltes for each system, shut off the other system. maybe they're syncing with the wrong orbi router.

Also, make sure the bands are separated so they're not on the same channel and you have a different ssid.
