Re: Computer looses Internet access when I get into range of a new node
It improved the situation, so the issue is obviously related to the threshold Apple use for swapping Wi-Fi network. Now I have a feeling I'm just almost constantly connected to the 1st floor base unit, since I rarely bring the computer up to the third floor, it is on the second floor 95 % of the time. A bit strange, since the signal is better from the satellite on the third floor, but I guess the fact that it is worse then when the 3rd floor satellite was on the 2nd floor and that seems to help.

So what's the distances between the RBR and RBS now?
What's the transmit power setting your using on the RBR?

In a straight line it is probably around 7-8 meters, with two concrete floor separators in between them. But the signal travels good from both upstairs and downstairs via our pretty open stairs. I keep the signal strength at 100 % at the moment, since I need the signal to reach my outdoor cameras.

Ok. Sounds good. Let that run for a while.
Seems like possible placement and distances are key here for your system.
That darn concrete though. 😒
