Connecting Nighthawk X6 R8000 (Router Mode) with ORBI RBK752 (AP Mode)
Hi Guys,
Wonder if anyone has setup the Nighthawk X6 R8000 (WiFI 5) in Router Mode and ORBI RBK752 (WiFI 6) in AP Mode. OR Vice Versa and advise which will be the best Mesh Setup to cover a very large house.
Thanks,
Jahan

Re: Connecting Nighthawk X6 R8000 (Router Mode) with ORBI RBK752 (AP Mode)
Similar yes. I have had mine Orbi AX in AP mode behind my CAX80, XR450 and R7800 and other routers on occasion. This is a recommended configuration if you want to use a different modem router. Just disable the wifi radios on that router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
