Daisy Chain vs. 2nd Network Switch
Verizon router is in bridge mode in basement...I have a Orbi Router connected to it...Several orbis in the house directly connected to orbi router in basement via cat. 5 wire. I also have a netgear network switch connected to orbi router as well for pool house orbi and 2 other satelites.
My question is only for the attic satellite that is directly connected to the main orbi router in basement. Off the attic satellite I have a network switch. two other satelittes are connected to that switch via cat 5 for the 2nd floor areas of my stupidly large home. Should I connect those two other satellites to the attic orbi satellite directly (daisy chain) or use network switch instead (2nd switch in the home)...What is the better choice here for speed and reliability?
Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Daisy Chain vs. 2nd Network Switch
It shouldn't really matter.
I've ran them both ways and didn't have any issues

Re: Daisy Chain vs. 2nd Network Switch
Thanks for the answer...I wasn't sure if it would be more reliable or not. We tend to have issues with wifi calling dropping out on the 2nd floor so wasn't sure if it was my setup in the attic causing it.
Thanks!
