FIX DEVICE NAMING AND DEVICE TYPE SELECTION ONCE AND FOR ALL NETGEAR - FIX IT, FIX IT, FIX IT!!!!!
Netgear, you need to fix the Device Type and Device Naming issue once and for all. It's in a COMPLETE MESS across all levels of your WiFi Devices. RAX80, RAX120, RBK53, RBR853. Issues everywhere with this and I know have the same on your flagship Orbi AX product.
- Device Types don't match between Web GUI and iOS app
- Device Renaming doesn't stick for some devices
- iOS app sometimes comes up with all devices reading Network Device and Device Type Unknown
- Choosing a Device Type in the Web GUI that does not exist in the iOS app results in Network or Unknow for Device Type in the iOS app
- We need the same Device Types in the iOS app that exist in the Web GUI - the selection in the iOS app is minimal at best
Fundamental router operation and you can't incorporate this properly once and for all.

You know this is the netgear user community, right? Just a bunch of folks who dont work for Netgear, dont speak for netgear, and are trying to help one another.
You may want to direct your energy to an audience who has ability to resolve what you have pointed out.
