As far as I know, to support Homekit, Netgear needs to create another version of the product that is -ONLY- Homekit compatible.

That is an Apple requirement for all vendors to support Homekit, Apple does not allow the Homekit product to be also compatible with Google Home or Alexa or even Z-Wave, Zigbee.

I think that's why it will take some time if Netgear will decide to support Homekit. 🙂
