I'm looking for info on how to set up IPOE protocol on RBR850 router. I want to connect it without using Quantum Fibers modem. Page 23 in the User Manual specifies how to connect with no login. I have the ISP Ethernet plugged into the router, but cannot connect to it.

It would help to know exactly which equipment Quantum Fiber installed. Is it this:
I would call Quantum Fiber customer support and ask the question directly, "how do I connect the Orbi WiFi system that I already own to your fiber unit?" I would not bring up "IPOE". You cannot be the only customer to switch from a previous ISP to fiber and want to keep their existing WiFi equipment rather than lease something from Quantum Fiber.
