How to login to RBS750 when it is disconnected from router
I have an RBR750 with 2 RBS750 satellites. One satellite is connected but the other is now showing as disconnected and it doesn't have an IP address assigned. I saw a previous thread that mentioned that this might be caused by a different firmware version on the disconnected satellite, and that downgrading the firmware fixed the problem.
How to I connect to the satellite to check its firmware version and downgrade if necessary? The satellite has no IP address and it's not reachable from the orbilogin web page. I plugged an Ethernet cable directly into the satellite from both the router and then from my PC but it's still not accessible.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: How to login to RBS750 when it is disconnected from router
The router and one of the satellites are running V4.6.5.14. I can't tell which version the disconnected satellite is running. I'm making a guess that it may be a different version and that's why it's showing as disconnected, but I really don't know for sure. It was working fine for almost 2 years. It's only been in the last month or so that it went offline.

Ya and if it won't connect even to the RBR via ethernet, maybe hard to find out.
Only thing you might try, update the RBS thats is working first to v.2 then RBR lastly, and hoping that maybe the 2nd RBS will either connect wirelessly or via ethernet.
I wish NG had not taken away the RBS self web page service. Argh.

Isn't there a way to perform a factory reset? I'm pushing and holding the reset button until the light starts flashing amber. It does reboot but when it comes back up it has remembered the previous settings like the name I gave it, so I don't think it's doing a hard reset.

Re: How to login to RBS750 when it is disconnected from router
Either use the ERASE button on the RBRs web page to reset it. I prefer this method. Pressing the Reset button for 20 seconds on the RBR or RBS should reset either one...
