Mixing orbi router and satellite models

I'm new to orbi and got a router from our ISP. Wanted to extend range into my garage. How much alignment of model do I need to be to get this working? Or will all orbi satellites work with all routers?

I've got a ax1800/rbr350 dual band wifi 6 router.
