MyQ 2.4G Garage to Orbi RBR750 (non-technical)
Like many folks I was having difficulty getting the MyQ garage door opener set up after upgrading to Orbi AX4200. I understood that the problem was my phone was connecting via 5G to the network instead of 2.4G due to the Mesh. I was not comfortable updating my router settings from a command line to seperate the 2.4G and 5G SSIDs. I was very frustrated, when I remembered that 2.4G had much longer range the 5G. So, I unplugged my satellites and covered my RBR750 with two metal stock pots. This "artifical distance" due to interference degraded the signal in my garage to the point that I was out of 5G range and I connected via 2.4G. Once on 2.4G, I was easily able to change the MyQ wifi settings in the phone app. Voila. Problem solved.

Re: MyQ 2.4G Garage to Orbi RBR750 (non-technical)
Also try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 25% Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings as well to help with the distance vs connection with the mobile device.
Enjoy.
