Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
the competitors triband mesh system with 6E is $1200. So I wouldn't call the first quad band device crazy priced. But it does push it out of the league for a lot of people.

Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
There are barely any WiFI 6 clients yet, much less 6E. 6E mesh will be a really cool thing to have in about 3 years. By then I bet the Costco price for Orbi 6E mesh will be the same as Orbi 6 today.

Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
Not a ton but slowly building. I bought a 6Ghz PCI adapter card off Amazon for fairly inexpensive. iPhone 13 was thought to have 6Ghz support but no. I presume something afterwards. 6Ghz won't be fully certified until next year or after so 6Ghz is still being vetted out. It's still in flux.

Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
Will the AXE system be compatible with AX satellites? Meaning if we keep our RBS 850 satellites can we use them are wireless satellites in the new mesh network with the RBK953 router and satellites?

Will it be autoupgrading, and buggy and unstable like their older and current Orbi models? 😕

Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
This is going to be a great addition and this Orbi looks Super charged... Still don't have more than a couple of WiFi6E devices, hopefully we will see a trend soon. Also with the bandwidth prices going down, the 10G ethernet port is a great addition... I know many many not agree but again this is the move in the right direction.
The price definitely puts this out of reach of many, but I see the price coming down after a few months with discounts offered by wholesellers like in the past.

Re: NETGEAR ADDS THE WORLD’S FIRST QUAD-BAND WIFI 6E MESH SYSTEM TO THE ORBI FAMILY
Can't do 3 bands right, and they're going to do 4 bands AND charge people more for it...

Maybe they can start by making all of their current products functional instead of releasing more overpriced doorstoppers.
