Netgear AX Orbi - Mixing Satellites?
I'm wondering if it would still be possible to use previous satellites from the Netgear AX6000 (RBK853) upon the newer Netgear AXE11000 (RBKE963), if upgrading? Ideally sharing the same Wifi network, rather than being separate from each other.
I understand performance degrading between them, but could the backhaul connection be linked? If so, is it wireless between the different satellites or would they need to be ethernet chained together to make the change over?

Officially NG doesn't support however some of our testing has reported 8 series connecting to 9 series orbi systems.

Re: Netgear AX Orbi - Mixing Satellites?
I don't have the 8 series but I have a 9 and a 7. When I hardwired my 7 series satellite into my 9 it worked on 1 or 2 of the firmware. Not sure about the current version
