New Orbi 770 Replacing Existing Orbi Set up Question

Both are laptops have wifi 7.... but oddly the connection off a 770 satellite was high 400's....the 860 gives me high 500's into 6's on a good day. Our ISP connection is about 2400. Connected directly to the orbi router with a dsl cable my desktop gives about 945GB.
Thanks for responding. That is certainly a disappointment. One would have thought that with such a high internet speed that WiFi7 (802.11be) would have been faster. Just as an 'aside', does the Orbi Attached Devices page indicate when devices are connected using WiFi7? Or, perhaps Windows displays some sort of indication?
I did not notice..... and the Orbi770 is already packed up and sent back.🙄 I reinstalled the 860 and ordered another satellite to give us that boost outside that I was looking for.
