After a short power outage, I cannot logon to the router with my two Apple devices, ( iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPad Pro, both running latest OS). Prior to the power outage they connected. All other devices, Windows computers, TV's, game consoles, thermostats, etc. are working flawlessly. I have gone through the normal troubleshooting sequences, resetting, rebooting, etc,, but am unsure why the two Apple devices cannot connect. Any suggestions?

On both devices, have you selected "Forget This Network".
Ensure Private IP Address is disabled.
I'd reboot the devices. Then try to reconnect.
What FW is on the RBR and RBS?
Are RBS wireless connected?
Distance in between the RBR and RBS?
Home size in Sq feet please?
Turn OFF the RBS temporarily to see if the devices connect to the RBR alone?

Re: New Orbi RBRE960 after loss of power
Do PC or laptops connect to the RBRs web page?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/NETGEAR-Mobile-Applications-and-Apple-Devices-FAQ/td-p/222...
Might Power OFF the ISP modem and RBR and RBS for 1 minute. Then power back ON, modem first, RBR next, RBS lastly. Give about 5-10 minutes for the system to settle back in. Then try the phones again.

Logon and connect typically have different meanings:
- Logon usually refers to being able to open the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net ) after being connected to the network.
- Connect usually refers to being able to join the network.
Apple's randomizer feature creates random values for the hardware MAC address (rather than presenting the actual hardware address). https://support.apple.com/guide/security/wi-fi-privacy-secb9cb3140c/web
This causes the router to believe they are "different" devices that it may not have ever seen before.
It might be useful to examine the Orbi web interface Advanced Tab, Security Menu, Access Control and see:
- If Access Control is enabled or disabled.
- Which setting has been selected for New Devices.

Thank you for your suggestion. I had already gone through the process and still couldn't "join" the network.

Re: New Orbi RBRE960 after loss of power
Thank you for your suggestions. I checked the advanced settings and it was already configured to allow new devices to connect. So I decided to "forget this network" using my iPhone and then "joining this network" and reentering the password and then I was able to connect. I then tried to "join" with the iPad and it connected with no problem.
This was obviously an IOS issue where the MAC ID didn't refresh after the power failure and reboot of the router. Why the iPad couldn't connect, is a mystery. I have notified Apple of the issue.
Thank you all for your help! I greatly appreciate it!

Re: New Orbi RBRE960 after loss of power
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
