New Orbi rbk850 - can not login or use app
I had a nightmare setting up my system and had to call support to reset it and set it up. We managed to get it all set up and working and as soon as I got off the phone the app or login to the router ...
Please explain how you are attempting to access the router web interface:
- Using a computer wired to the router with an Ethernet cable?
- Using something connected to the router over WiFi?
(The 'app' is obviously over WiFi)
- I am trying to use the app over WiFi, my phone over WiFi, iPad over WiFi and also a laptop over WiFi and all of them do not work. The laptop does not have an Ethernet slot đ

(On a Windows machine, open a command window and type ipconfig /all. Mac's must have a similar command.)
The WiFi adapter will report a lot of stuff, including IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. That is the IP address where the router web interface will be found. Usually it is 192.168.1.1, but it never hurts to check.
- The up config gives 192.168.1.1 and when I go there it says site can not be reached.
I had to do a factory reset to get it set up so it looks like I am going to have to do it each time I want to see the settings as this is the reason I could not get up as I couldnât change internet log in by going to the router settings.
Surly thatâs is not right?!
