I had a nightmare setting up my system and had to call support to reset it and set it up. We managed to get it all set up and working and as soon as I got off the phone the app or login to the router did not work. I use Orbi login.net, the 192 code and the 50 one and not one of them with work and not will the app.
Is there something I can do as I can’t face calling again. I can not log in to change any settings which is annoying as I want to see what devices are there.
I am trying to use the app over WiFi, my phone over WiFi, iPad over WiFi and also a laptop over WiFi and all of them do not work. The laptop does not have an Ethernet slot 😞

Thanks. Does the laptop connect to the WiFi network? What does the laptop report as the network "Gateway"?
(On a Windows machine, open a command window and type ipconfig /all. Mac's must have a similar command.)
The WiFi adapter will report a lot of stuff, including IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. That is the IP address where the router web interface will be found. Usually it is 192.168.1.1, but it never hurts to check.
If you can't get in using the IP address on a web browser, you'll need to factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser pointed at 192.168.1.1.
The up config gives 192.168.1.1 and when I go there it says site can not be reached.
I had to do a factory reset to get it set up so it looks like I am going to have to do it each time I want to see the settings as this is the reason I could not get up as I couldn’t change internet log in by going to the router settings.

Which web browser is being used?
What is the specific error message?
And, no. Once the system is operating correctly, there is no reason to do a factory reset again until there is some horrible disaster. I have gone months without doing a factory reset.

I have no way of knowing as I can not log into anything to see. I literally only got the system set up this evening. Moved over from linksys. I am not sure if it even needs an update or if it will update itself as I did not get chance to see any of the settings.
Ok, you'll need to factory reset and setup with a wired PC.
There was a bad event this past may that caused a hard fail with v4.6.5x FW. Possible your system has this or maybe a bit lower version which was caught up in the problem back in May as is being seen here. Once users reset and setup from scratch and tehn updated to v4.6.8x on the RBS first then RBR lastly, this log in problem was resolved. v4.6.8.5 is most current right now.

I do this every time I install a new WiFi router. That allows all of my WiFi devices to connect automatically to the new system. (And, if I decide to "go back" to the previous router, they all connect automatically to that one.)
With the Linksys turned off completely, your WiFi devices should connect to the new Orbi system. Since it has the same name and password, they actually are not supposed to even know there has been a change. They do, correct?
It's probably a good idea to clear the browser cache before connecting to the router web site using 192.168.1.1 (not the name).
