ORBI 960 (RBRE960) WAN on 1Gb LAN port?
Is it possible to use one of the 1Gb port as WAN and turn the 10Gb WAN into a LAN port?

Re: ORBI 960 (RBRE960) WAN on 1Gb LAN port?
Not exactly! 🙂 The GB ports in the RBRE960 are meant for the following:
- 10 Gbit Ethernet port for Internet - WAN port with support of up to 10 Gbps Internet speeds. This can't be used for LAN except when you have Orbi in AP mode.
- 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port for wired connections -Multi-gig Ethernet port for wired connection to network storage, LAN gaming, in-home media streaming, or use it to set up a wired multi-gig connection between the router and satellites with structured Ethernet wiring in your home.
