Ookla wired download speed test anomalies with Orbi RBK852.
When I run the speed test within the router web interface (Advanced/Setup/Speed test) on my Ethernet connected PC, usually, but not always, it returns 1,300-1,400 Mbps down. When I run the same test with the Ookla app on my PC, it consistently returns 940-950 Mbps, but NEVER greater than 950 Mbps down.
Is there an explanation for these very consistent download speed discrepancies?
Comcast/Xfinity 1.0 Gbps service
System: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
ASUS Z390 MB, with recently installed tp-link 10 Gbps NIC
Netgear CM-2050V 2.5 Gbps Voice/Cable Modem
Orbi RBK852--Default settings for Orbi except for using OpenDNS
Cat 7 Ethernet connecting modem to Orbi, and Orbi to PC

You'll not see anything over 1000Mpbs when connected to the RBRs LAN port since they are rated only at 1000Mpbs.
