Orbi AX4200 / RBS750 - period website disconnects
Hi - i installed this system over the summer (router+2 satellites) and wifi is working great. however i am often experiencing certain web domains to be unavailable for short period of time (1-2 minutes). During this period, everything else is functional and other websites will work fine. This often happens with common domains (google etc) and appears to be totally random. It is also consistent with any device I try.
I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this? Perhaps something with the device firewall but i've tried disabling the security features and same issue continues to happen. Did not experience this prior to installing the wifi system so i don't suspect this is due to my ISP.
Thanks in advance for any insight!

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?
Do you have Armor enabled?

Check your IPv6 settings and post them here. If turned on and not configured properly, you could experience what your are stating.

Re: Orbi AX4200 / RBS750 - period website disconnects
Hi, thanks for your input. I have the Sagecom Dgci 384 AlticeOne Gateway. after researching it appears Altice/Optimum does not yet support ipv6 but please let me know if anyone knows otherwise.
Right now i have the Orbi router set for dynamic IP and automatic DNS addresses. Armor is disabled currently.
thanks again for any help here.

What mode is your modem gateway working in? Router or modem mode only?

The gateway is configured as modem+router. I havent seen any settings on it that allow one to disable the router. RBR has IPv6 disabled. thank you

And the RBR is configured as router mode. Should i try changing this to AP mode if i cant disable the router on the Altice gateway box?

Re: Orbi AX4200 / RBS750 - period website disconnects
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try Option #2 first..
