I plan on setting up my new RBK853 using the router web interface from my Desktop computer. Do I need, or is it preferable, to power up the two satellites when I initially power up the Router and commence the setup?
No. you can set them up/sync them later if you prefer.
I've done it both ways where I add the satellites right away and added them later when I wanted more/different coverage
Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80 1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity We’re members of the public helping out on our own time.
