Orbi ax4200 Satellite wont sync
I just purchased the Orbi ax4200 tri band mesh wifi 6 (3 pack - one router and 2 sat's). The first satellite is synced up with router just fine. The second satellite is impossible !! I have tried...
yes. thanks for follow up. I replaced the sat unit with a new one and it connected to the network in less than 2 minutes. al good now

WEB page won't display for that IP address?
nope. even when plugged directly into my imac. I dont get it
Try this,
What you need to do is factory reset the RBS. Wire connect a PC to the 1st satellite📡. Already have the most current FW version files downloaded on to this PC.
Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the RBS. Factory reset the RBS, wait about 5 minutes. The PC will get a IP address from the satellite📡. The RBS will be 192.168.1.250. Use this IP address in a web browser to log in to the satellites web page. Log in as admin and password. Use the satellites 📡 web page FW update feature to select the FW update file that was unpacked from the .zip file.
I would turn OFF the RBR and RBS while you try this...
if that fails, the RBS maybe in a bad state. Last resort is to do a 30-30-30 reset on the RBS.
I would also use the GENERATE new backhaul password on the RBR here as well.
Then try a normal sync using the back Sync button on the RBS and add satellite on the RBRs web page.

Guess the other RBS was bad. Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
