Orbi ax5700
Current orbi AX5700 (rbr840) and just built a Pavillion in backyard. Have decent signal and want to strengthen it to ensure Sonos and streaming tv work. Could I get the AX1800 wifi mesh extender Vs another satellite. Will it work with Orbi and what are pros and cons? Thanks!

Will it work? Sure. I've attached extenders to my orbi setups before.
Cons:
- it doesn't integrate with the system
- roaming isn't as efficient as it isn't part of the mesh
- that can impact stability
- since its not integrated, nothings controlling the extender unlike the orbi system has the router managing it
- you'll have to use different apps/web gui's to manage the 2x systems
Pro's: Its cheaper.
