Re: Orbi mesh 6e best setting for fast speed and low ping
The one that works?
Truly its more about testing different setups in your own home. When I first purchased a mesh system I moved it around probably every week and tested the speeds to see what worked best in my own home. This is important to try because things in walls (think hvac/foil lined insulation/etc), furniture, and appliances can all impact how the wifi signal propagates. So testing different locations is going to result in optimizing your performance and wifi coverage.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Depending on size of home, you may not need many RBS deployed.
Usually default settings works well.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Ethernet connect the RBS if you have that support in the home.
CAT6 is recommended. CAT6A STP is recommended for 2.5Gb connections.
