Orbi wifi problems
I have 2 satellite config that are daisy chained around the apartment. Upon buying the wifi, I was getting over 500 mb/s but suddenly dropped, with the satellites constantly disconnection and syncing every 5 minutes. I performed a factory reset, rebooted everything and got a LAN cable to connect my laptop via ethernet. This worked great for about 2 weeks with my internet returning to its original high speed performance. But in the past few days the speed has dropped to under 100 mb/s, with the satellites disconnecting again and when paired turning amber. I don't know how it's only getting a "fair" connection when the routers aren't that far away. I'm still getting the 500+ mb/s speeds from the modem so it must be the orbi's problem. Any ideas? Rebaid

In order to help you, we need some more information about your Orbi setup:
1) What firmware version is loaded on the router and satellites?
2) How far away from the router are the satellites?
3) What make and model modem do you have?
4) How large is your apartment?
5) Can you detect other WiFi signals in your apartment? If so, how strong and are they on similar channels?
