Outdoor Wi-Fi with RBR850
In a previous generation of Orbi I used an RBRS50Y outdoors. But it is not compatible with the RBR850.

RBS50Y is compatible if you load up the Extender mode FW on the RBS50Y.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)?

Thank you for this very useful suggestion! I had not thought of this. It looks like a good option. Only concern I have is what happens to the strength of the wi-fi signal given it is inside the box?

If the box is not metal, signal should now be degraded badly. Should be good.

I am using a RBS750 in a weatherproof box with my Orbi 852 and it works great. RBS750 was used instead of a RBS850 due to the price
