Problems after upgrading to latest firmware V7.2.6.31_5.0.24 RBR850 and RBS850
I have a RBR850 running in Router Mode (connected to a Virgin Media modem) with 3 RBS850 satellites. We have a decent size house (not massive mind) but the walls are really thick so needed 3 satellites to cover all the kids bedrooms and the living rooms downstairs.
Everything was running fine really, but when I was trying to do something with a raspberry pi to connect to a remote VPN I kept having problems and I was fairly certain the issue was with the Orbi. Having checked the firmware it looked as though I was running a really old version - I'm sure it began with a 4, and there was a new one available (not autoupdated) that I've detailed in the title.
Anyway, did all the updates and got the system up and running in about half an hour or so. All fine initially but starting to spot a bunch of issues now with devices not connecting properly. the Sky TV pucks for example need to be reconnected every time I use them, whereas previously they were always connected. The wireless printer is also now permanently offline and has to be turned on and off to be used. The satellite on the top floor of the house seems to disconnect randomly now, yet previously had been up and connected for months.
Anyone got any advice? Can I go back to an old version of the firmware or has that ship sailed?
Really frustrating!
