Perhaps this has been going on ever since I installed my Orbi system about a year ago, but I just noticed that my computer connects to the main router, which is one floor below and about 20' away instead of to the nearest satellite which is in the same room as the computer and about 5' away. The signal strength of the connection is 3 out of 4 bars and the system seems to operate OK, but I'm curious why the connection would be to the router, which is further from the computer.
