RBR750 will not connect to Starlink
I know it’s been a while since the last post in this thread but I’m having a similar problem and the solution here hasn’t work.
Our Starlink version is ‘Round Dishy’ with UTR-201 router.
Issues arose after an electrical storm which caused other damage at the house.
The original Starlink + Orbi setup which was working fine consisted of;
- Starlink router connected to TP-link switch (SG108D) via Aux port.
- Switch connected to Orbi RBR750 router .
- No changes made to the Starlink router (not set to Bypass mode)
Both the TP-Link switch and the the Orbi router appear to have been fried in the electrical storm. Both dead with no power lights.
Starlink router and satellite are still working as the Starlink wifi network is still available (it has poor wifi coverage hence using Orbi)
Purchased new TP-Link switch (LS108G) and new Orbi router (RBR850)
Set up Orbi exactly as before, but it is not receiving internet. Have tried multiple options including
- Rebooting the Starlink satellite and router
- Different connection methods [Starlink router direct to Orbi router not connected to switch, Starlink router direct to Orbi router and Orbi router connected to switch, Starlink power brick direct to Orbi router (white cable), Starlink power brick direct to switch, switch connected to Orbi]
On the switch there is no action from the activity light at the port where the Starlink router is plugged in. There is activity at the port where the Orbi is plugged in.
Security cameras plugged into the switch (working in the previous setup) also do not appear to be receiving internet.
Is it possible that the Aux port on the Starlink router has been fried as well, meaning that the switch is not being supplied with internet? If not what are the other possible problems.

Re: RBR750 will not connect to Starlink
The ISP has some ethernet adapter that maybe needed. Something you'll need to ask the ISP about regarding it and getting services connected properly to the Orbi system. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-WIFI-6-AX-AND-Wi-Fi-6E-AXE/Orbi-RBKE-963-and-Starlink-again/m-...

Re: RBR750 will not connect to Starlink
Thanks. The Starlink V1 router has an Ethernet port so doesn’t need the adapter, but I have described the problem to Starlink and they are sending a replacement unit. Have ordered the adapter with it to connect to Orbi, so hopefully that will work.
