RBR750

I bought the Orbi routers on recommendation and they have been nothing but problematic.  I live overseas and while I have friends where the routers work, mine shut down about every 4 hours.  the ISP says it is to dump the cache but I am wondering what is going on.  Has anyone had this issue?

Trying to contact Orbi/Netgear is almost impossible.  Hoping someone has an answer.

Re: RBR750

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Re: RBR750

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

I'd have the ISP check to see if there Modem or ONT sees the RBR after they "dump cache" on there system. IF this is happening every 4 hours, then something is happening with the ISP services and the modem.

Have someone check the front LED on the RBR. It should be OFF however if it's PINK, means the RBR can't get ISP services from the modem or ONT or bad cabling. CAT6 is recommended.

Can you give more detail about "shut down"?  What exactly happens? (I doubt it means they actually turn off.)

What do you do to get the system working each time?

On the Orbi web interface, can you click on the Advanced Tab and then Connection Status.  Does the system die approximately when the DHCP lease is due to expire?
