Hi guys, I have just purchased. the 760 Orbi and satellite and having issues with the app finding the satellite, tried everything it says but still doesn’t connect to it.
Main issue though and it may be a silly question sorry but I can’t seem to see the two other 5.0 bandwidths on my available wifi options to change the name and passwords of them on the router.
I. had an older Netgear and was able to change the password for the 2.4 and both 5.0GHz, can I not do this with an Orbi and why can’t I see them in my wifi options of a device.
Orbi products have one Service Set IDentifier (SSID) for the primary WiFi channels (2.4G and 5G) and one SSID for the guest WiFi channels. There is new firmware for some of the AX product line which introduced an SSID intended for "Internet of Things" devices, but that new firmware does not appear to have been released for the 760 product.
